things they don't tell you, part one
In the days of open communication which we now enjoy, people will talk about anything . Mostly that's great. If you are pregnant and you want to know about birth, or even if you don't, people will tell you. They will tell you the gory details and the horror stories and paint you a ACA style montage of pain and tragic loss. BOOM! and there went her vagina! BLOOD everywhere... !! Duuuude! Freaking GROSS! And so on, (and on, and on) it goes. To balance the scale I want to fill the air space with positivity. To shift a woman's mental space to the can-do attitude society seems intent in ripping away from her. I want to restore women's innate power and wisdom and let her unleash that intense beast with pride and honour. The just rewards will be so sweet, they will fill her cup for eternity. :) So, while there exists all the science in the world to support the fact that women can give birth, all a woman crucially needs to do is believe she can.
